da sam pravila tabuli :!: :D.
Mnogo je volim, ali je nisam ranije spremala. Mozda sam stavila malo vise kus kusa, sledeci put cu malo manje.

ili u okviru ostalog malu diskusiju klopa ili  njupa. Za njupu sam se setila sad posto su Shtrumpfovi opet u modi, ako se neko seca Njupadzije : " Njupadzija hoce njupe" :)

Izgleda nevidjeno!!! Ja moram da jedem zdravu hranu jer mi od nezdrave pozli. Godine...  :(
Za desetak dana u Srbiji sam pojeo jedan burek i bilo mi lose posle toga. Ne mogu vise ni mortadelu, ni prstutu, ni pljeskavice, ni nista. Treba mi par dana da se oporavim.
Sutra idem u neki americki restoran pa ce da padne steak ili baby ribs, toga jos mogu da se prezderem.

Tempo, to je nesto ( zitarica krupno mlevena, obicno psenica, mada se koristi i kukuruz, jecam ...) sto se cesto sprema u middle east kuhinjama tipa Lebanese, Marocan, Tunisian , itd.

Izgleda kao sicusne mrve, tzv mrvice, koje nabubre kada ih ubacis u kipucu vodu.

Znam nego dok sam bio mali prodavali to u slicnim pakovanjim, providna plasticna kao casa. Kesten pire i kuvano zito.

Secam se da to nisam moga da kradem jer nije moglo da mi stane u rukav jakne.

Bulghur = Cracked Wheat. Or is it?

Alan Davidson, author of The Oxford Companion to Food (Canada, UK), and one of our food-knowledge heroes, says they are the same thing. But he's an Englishman, who whiled away his career as a diplomat before moving on to the serious work of writing about food, and the British perspective on ingredients is sometimes a little different than our own.

Davidson says bulghur or bulgur or bulgar, which much of the rest of the world knows as burghul, is made by parboiling the wheat, drying it, then coarsely grinding it. At that point, the outer layers of the bran are removed — traditionally by hand — after which, the grains are cracked. It is generally available in three textures, fine, medium and coarse, and you can sometimes find organic burghul. After cracking, it is ready for steaming or boiling. The distinctive nutty taste, Davidson says, is the result of the inner layers of bran that are retained.

Now, the writers in USA, who take such delight in telling you that bulghur is not cracked wheat, skip the boiling and drying steps completely and simply crack the whole wheat berry. So you get all the bran in their cracked wheat. Madeleine Kamman, author of The New Making of a Cook (Canada, UK), and another of our food heroes, is in this camp. She says real cracked wheat is hard to come by in the USA — that some is imported from the Mediterranean — but that "one mostly has to settle for bulgur."

Honey Baked Grapefruit

Ingredients:
1 large grapefruit (I use ruby red)
1 tbsp raw honey
Organic maple syrup (to taste)
~1 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Halve the grapefruit with a knife and remove the center pith
With your knife, loosen the sections
Pour some honey into the center of the grapefruit (where the pitch was removed) and drizzle the top with maple syrup. Dust the top of the grapefruit with cinnamon.
Bake for ~15-18 minutes.
Serve with yogurt!

Jelence nije to isto. Jesi li pravila nekad zimnicu ( sama bez da ti pomazu majka, svekrva, baba, tetka , itd)? Ja nisam , ove ce mi godine biti prvi put  :oops:, krajnje je vreme. I'm so excited about it  :)
Najlakse je otici i kupiti teglu- deset ajvara, aj' ga sama napravi  8-)

To je meni grandiozno gubljenje vremena. Meni nije mrsko da kuvam svaki dan jer to je uglavnom (samo kuvanje) mozda sat vremena posla i za toliko imam strpljenja. A PAPRIKA jebote pa to je CEO DAN posla za tih istih 10 tegli ajvara sto kod Gorana ima na gotovo.

Kakva zimnica, daleko bilo. To je meni uvek bila robija.

OK, za sada mogu da nadjem Tanasica pa nisam osudjena na Podravku. Ma i tada bih nasla da kupim od nekih zena sto prave. Ne bi se zametala citav dan u paprike pa nema sansone.

Radije bih sela na avion pa kod mame na ajvar. Bez zajebavanja.

Ja ni pelene nikada nisam prao i nemam osecaj da sam ista propustio. Niti cujem od mojih da je to bilo bolje.

No jednom sam pozeleo da napravim dzem od kajsija, inace moj najomiljeniji, po bakinom receptu. Posle nekoliko sati zezanja i kuvanja (i prskanja vrele smolaste smese), kupljenih tegli, itd. sam  sa razocaranjem zakljucio da ovaj kupovni nije nista losiji od domaceg.

Iha, kako bre nemas. Prvu stvar koju sam kupila ovde u Australijama je bila masinica za meso. A druga je bila masinica za orahe. Tako da smo mogli o'ma da pravimo zito  :!:

Sad pri poslednjoj selidbi kupili smo novi astal na koji ne moze da se usrafi masina. Joj koje je to ocajanje bilo kad je doslo vreme da se pravi zito! Morali smo istrazivati i improvizovati (od ograde na terasi pa nadalje) i bas smo se namucili.

Zimnica (!), zamrzivaci sa mesom, spajze(vi) puni flasiranog i "tegliranog" zelenisa, slatko, dzemovi shtekovani u mraku i slicne gluposti: alo, bre, ljudi, nije 19. vek (jos).

Sad ce neko da kaze, "a sta, tvoja mama kao nije sve to radila?".

Jeste, i ja sam uvek mislio da nije normalna. Bar ne u situaciji kada supermarketi sve to imaju stalno sveze i iz uvoza ako treba, 24/7, 365 dana u godini.
