- Tweak a few leader settings to be more likely to use their traits.
- Adjust Napoleon to make more likely to go for culture.

[COMBAT/UNITS]
- AI will not use Horse as defenders on hills as much.
- AI will often build more defensive troops.
- AI will more aggressively hunt barbs in the early game.
- Slightly more naval units.
- AI will now build ranged and mobile units more in line with the flavor settings for the team - in general, this means more mobile units.

[GAMEPLAY]

[CITY/BUILDINGS]
- Added "National Treasury" national wonder, which requires Markets in all cities. Provides +8 Gold per turn to the city in which it's built.
- Added "Circus Maximus" national wonder, which requires Colosseums in all cities.. Provides 5 Happiness.
- Library now has no specialist slots.
- Wat now has two specialist slots.
- Public school now has 1 Science per pop, +1 free Great Scientist point, +1 Culture for 3 gold maintenance.
- Observatory now has 1 specialist slot.
- Research Lab has two specialist slots.
- Public school now provides 1 beaker per pop for 3 gold maintenance.
- Watermill now provides +2 good and +1 production for 2 gold maintenance.
- Paper Maker now has no specialist slots.
- Circus now has +2 happiness and no maintenance.
- Theatre now has +5 happiness.
- Stadium now has +5 happiness.
- Reduced production cost and maintenance for the Courthouse.
- Courthouse can now be purchased in a city (although it is expensive).
- Removed maintenance from city defense buildings (Walls, Castle, Military Base).
- City defense buildings now help cities heal.
- Increased city strength ramp-up based on technology.
- Reduced effects of Forbidden Palace and Meritocracy (Happiness per city).
- Reduced amount of food needed for cities to grow at larger sizes.
- Buildings can now no longer provide more Happiness than there is population in a city (wonders are excluded from this).
- Ironworks now gives 10 hammers instead of a % bonus.
- National College now gives +5 science in addition to the % bonus.
- Hermitage gives 5 culture in addition to its previous bonus.
- Raze/Unraze exploit fixed.
- Cities being razed are unhappy about it (only during the razing process).
- Cities heal more quickly.

[UNITS/PROMOTIONS]
- Cavalry can now go obsolete with Combustion.
- Stealth bombers cannot use carriers.
- Only allow one upgrade per unit from a goody hut.
- Add second embarkation promotion ("Defensive Embarkation").
- Amount of damage done during naval combat increased.
- All melee horse units get penalty attacking cities.
- Increased city attack penalty for mounted and armor units to 50% (from 40%).
- Lancers (and Lancer UUs) upgrade to helicopter.
- Lowered combat value of Horseman and Companion Cavalry.
- Promotions must be picked the turn they're earned.
- Can no longer promote a unit that has fought during the turn (instead, the promotion comes up the beginning of the following turn).
- Catapults and Trebuchets now weaker against units but stronger VS cities.
- Reduced effectiveness of Archers & Crossbowmen (and their UUs) VS cities.
- Reduced some combat bonuses: flanking (15 to 10), Great Generals (25 to 20), Discipline (15 to 10), Military Tradition (2x to 1.5x).
- Remove requirement for aluminum on Mobile SAM.
- Lower open terrain penalty to 10% .
- Marsh is now 3 moves to enter (Chariots do not move quickly through it anymore).
- Cavalry now upgrade to tanks.

[CITY STATES]
- Reduced bonuses from Maritime city-states - Friends: +2 food in capital, +0 food in other cities - Allies: +3 food in capital, +1 food in other cities
- Only the first 3 units gifted to a city-state will earn Influence now.
- Killing a barb inside a city-state's territory now gives a 5-turn buffer where there is no Influence intrusion penalty.

[HAPPINESS]
- If an empire reaches -20 Happiness, it goes into revolt, and rebels start appearing throughout the empire, based on the number of cities.
- Amount of Happiness needed to trigger a Golden Age reduced.
- Amount of Happiness needed to trigger a Golden Age now increases as the number of cities in the empire goes up.

[POLICIES]
- Landed Elite (Tradition Branch) now reduces culture cost of border growth by 2/3.
- Monarchy (Tradition Branch) now provides +1 Gold per 2 pop in the Capital..
- Liberty now provides a Settler training bonus to only the capital, and not every city.
- Tradition now provides +50% growth in the capital.
- Theocracy now reduces Unhappiness by 25% .
- Reformation now gives a 10-turn GA.
- Adopting Rationalism now gives a 4-turn GA.

[TECH TREE]
- Add link between Military Science and Dynamite.
- Add link between Civil Service and Education.
- Add link between Economics and Scientific Theory.
- Add link between Chivalry and Acoustics.
- Research overflow now works correctly (extra beakers after completing a tech will rollover to the next tech).

[GENERAL]
- Fixed bug where clicking on a city plot wouldn't select the garrison.
- Natural wonders now award culture (if worked) and happiness (if in border) if that trait is assigned to a wonder in XML.
- Players must now always adopt Policies immediately, and cannot defer picking until later.
- Have culture cost for policies never go down (trading away cities to reduce culture cost exploit). Razing cities will not raise your policy cost ceiling.
- Reduced culture needed for first plot acquisition from 20 to 15.
- 3 new Natural Wonders and rarity code for both base game and New World scenario.
- Reduced points from Wonders (40 to 25) & Cities (10 to 8), increased points for pop by 1 (3 to 4).

[DIPLOMACY]
- AI's attitude towards you is now visible in the diplo screen and diplo drop-down.
- Added info tooltip for an AI leader's mood. Lists things that are making an AI player happy/upset.
- New diplo system: Declaration of Friendship (public declaration with diplomatic repercussions).
- New diplo system: Denounce (public declaration with diplomatic repercussions).
- New custom leader responses (Serious Expansion Warning, Aggressive Military, Luxury Exchange, Borders Exchange, Gift Request, etc.).
- Not agreeing to a friend's request now results in a relations hit.
- Third party AIs can now respond when a player makes a DoF or denounces someone. What they say is based on the situation - e.g. if you make friends with someone they don't like, they'll scold you.
- AI leaders will now sometimes ask their friends to denounce one of their enemies as a show of support, and refusing to denounce someone when an AI asks can now make them very upset.
- AI is now capable of denouncing friends (aka, backstabbing) and added backstabbing info to diplo overview screen.

[UI]
- Add XP bar for air units, do not allow XP for air units attacking a city that is already down to its last hit-point.
- Change ActivePlayer's name to "You" in single player in score list.
- Added game option to disable automated workers from removing features.
- Fixed bug where Happiness from garrisoned units wasn't being listed in Happiness info tooltip.
- Load Map function will now display correct size and type of saved map.
- New "Angry Genghis" loading screen (replaces the "fluffy-bunny Genghis" loading screen).
- Added setup options to allow players to defer choosing Policies and Promotions right away.
- Show the river penalty when attacking city across river (the penalty was there but was not being shown in the preview).
- Global politics screen updated to reflect new diplo system.
- Can no longer Force End Turn (shift-enter) through blocking notifications. CAN now use it to skip over units which need orders.
- Multiple tweaks and bug fixes.

[MISC]
- Fix small bugs with adding long roads around existing features.
- Fixed bombard arrow across world wrap.

[MODDING]
- Parent category counts now include counts of child categories.
- Selecting/deselecting a category now automatically selects/deselects it's children and its parent.
- Tweaked category name truncation to better fit names.
- Hide categories w/ no children and a count of 0.
- Added support for fallback languages (if mod is not translated, fall-back to English so text keys are not showing).
- The pager for the installed mods tab of the mods browser is now displayed in the correct location.
- Long values for properties such as "Special Thanks" will no longer extend past the edge browser frame.
- Categories refresh much faster now in the mods browser.
- Multiple additional tweaks and fixes to the mod browser.
- Support for mods that perform major restructuring of the tech tree including adding, deleting, and updating techs, buildings, and units.
- Added GameEvents system for overriding Gameplay DLL specific functionality.
- Fixed "Reload Landmark System" mod flag to now refresh landmarks defined in "ArtDefine_Landmarks".
- Multiple SDK updates (new version to go live shortly).

[SERIALIZATION/SAVES]
- Fixed save format which causes saves to increase the memory footprint of the game drastically when loading frequently over the course of the game. This heightened the risk of late-game out of memory crashes significantly.

Ja sam uspeo da budem nesvestan cinjenice da je trebalo uopste da izadje pre aprila. Prekjuce mi rekli da je Dragon Age 2 planiran za prolece takodje, dok sam ga ja ocekivao ne pre zime.

Divan čovek, divan intervju. Mislim, evo prvog odgovora:

I have a different reason behind the games I'm making than most people do, but they're very definitely videogames, and they're very definitely trying to be good games and interesting to play.

mogli bismo napraviti jednu the BEST OF 2010 listu. malo ću si porazmisliti o pc naslovima koje sam igrao ove (vrlo plodne) gamerske godine. pogledaću što sam ovdje i na još jednom gamerskom forumu pisao, pa sastaviti ljestvicu.

Dobro, stvarno je ubedljivo kako likovi facijalnom mimikom izražavaju, jelte, emocije i komuniciraju. A biće interesantno videti kako je Rokstar bazirao gejmplej na tome.

rivju mi nije prodao 999, u redu je bavljenje u određenoj meri battle royale/saw tematikom i pomenuto rešenje koje svako naredno prelaženje čini udobnijim je bistro ako već ne i promišljeno do kraja, ali na osnovu iznetih zagonetki i sveukupnog koncepta nisam stekao utisak da je u pitanju remek delo koje odgovara oceni. možda ako su likovi umiljati pa njihove smrti (teško da su to twistovi, više šokovi) učine da igrač oseti posledice emocionalne investicije...
bilo bi lepo da pođe stopama phoenixa wrighta i dođe na wii.

Ortak je probao juce Kinect. Kaze, ma koliko se ideja cini losa ovako ka slusas o njoj, tek kad probas vidis do koje mere je to besmisleno i  neupotrebljivo osim kao prolazni gimmick.

Videćemo. Upravo sam skinuo sveže urađeni apdejt firmwarea za moj DS fleškartridž, pa ću moći da igram Golden Sun Dark Dawn, a tu će se neđe prošvercovati i ovo.. Daluje zanimljivo, majku mu.

Da dojavim da se na Steamu pojavio The Oddbox o kome smo nedavno pričali - svce četiri Oddworld igre, od kojih dve nikad pre na PCju - i da košta sitno para (12 i po Evrilija), a sve u sklopu surovih božićnih popusta. Kad prođe popust (sutra) biće 25 Evra.

Deus Ex 1 i 2 su 2,69 evra, Super Meat Boy je 2 i po itd. Reagujte brzo.

Red Dead Redemption je u principu igra godine (ili je u prve tri) ali kad čovek pročita kako su je pravili, ne može a da se ne čudi kako je dobro ispala. Mislim, ništa neobično za white collar ambijent, ali ovo je kao neki kreativni posao...

One former employee has posted a revealing account of Red Dead Redemption's development at Rockstar San Diego - uncovering a working life of "deception", "manipulation" and "abuse".

That former employee is Zero Dean, whose blog post "My Life at Rockstar Games" now seems to have disappeared. A Google cache, however, reveals its contents.

As to its and his credibility, Zero Dean posts a quirky disclaimer accepting the caveats that come with a personal recollection. Zero Dean exists on LinkedIn, and his profile is linked to at the bottom of his blog post. Furthermore, his profile has been recommended by 13 people - 11 apparently from Rockstar San Diego. Zero Dean's job title was Senior Environment Artist on Red Dead Redemption.

Zero Dean joined Rockstar San Diego in 2007 and sensed something was "off" from the start; team bonding was "non existent", "no one had a clue what anyone else was working on and there was no feedback loop". Zero Dean decided to write a risky letter to his boss that eventually paid dividends and things improved, for a while.

"It really wasn't until after my first year at the company when people (higher-ups) started freaking out about how long the project had been in development, how much money was being wasted, and - and this is the big one - release dates," he wrote.

"And that's when the increase in the deception and manipulation by management began - slowly at first - and then over time it got totally nuts (by my standards)."

"Seriously," he added, "if the going-ons at the office had been filmed, it would've been a great comedy from a viewer's perspective, I'm sure. Sadly, it was real-life and hell for a lot of people - people talked about wanting to leave, but couldn't because they 'had kids', or 'a mortgage', or 'the economy is so bad' and 'no one is hiring'."

Zero Dean recalled how the hours increased from eight to 12, and days spread from five each week to six. Salaried workers weren't compensated for overtime but paid for a standard 40-hour week.

"Morale continued to deteriorate as the lies increased. And everyone was on edge. And we were being spoken to in meetings like incompetent 10 year olds," he wrote.

After months of cleaning someone else's shoddy and rushed work, Zero Dean was given responsibility of creating the Mexico part of Red Dead Redemption. But things turned sour when he tried to encourage his three-person team by sending them a private email.

"A few minutes later I was called into a meeting and was subjected to a complete fit of swearing and screaming for about 10-15 minutes," he remembered, "by an 'I'm obviously in charge here' higher-up who was, let's just say, not very popular amongst some - or maybe most - employees I ever came in contact with."

It was at that point Zero Dean realised emails were being monitored.

"How the f*** dare I say the (obviously unrealistic) schedule was unrealistic to three people in a private email?!" he recalls being told. "I was abusing my responsibilities as a Lead (how ironic)! It went on and on. "I felt like I was being dressed down by a drill sergeant - I mean in the most realistic sense. I felt like I'd somehow been transported to the military at that moment."

Zero Dean was nearly "fired on the spot" and "immediately stripped" of his responsibilities. He kept his vapid job title, and was told the management wouldn't "embarrass" him by sharing what had happened.

"So I rolled with the punches for as long as I could, but it became really difficult to ignore how ridiculous things were getting, not just for me but for everyone. And I came to realise that I'd somehow been sucked into thinking that it was all somehow OK. That is was OK for me to be working 12 hours a day," he wrote, "six days a week without compensation.

"That is was OK to be lied to and manipulated in the workplace. That it was OK to be spoken to by management as if you were child. That it was OK if management screamed at and abused people while their peers looked on (I wasn't the only one). And that is was OK I was letting real-life pass me by as a result of all this.

"It wasn't OK," he added, "It was actually far from OK.

"It wasn't until my boss took credit for my work - and politely argued with me about who had actually created it (I had the original documents on my desktop) - that I went back to my desk and started cleaning it. And then I realised I wasn't cleaning it, I was packing."

In retrospect, Zero Dean realises he should thank that his boss who effectively "pushed me out of hell".

"And thank you Rockstar," he added. "You taught me exactly how I don't want to run a business or treat employees (or human beings) ever."

Eurogamer has reached out to Rockstar for comment.

Evo sasvim poučnog i korisnog intervjua u kome osnivač(ica) Interpleja razbacuje informacije o širokom spektru naslova, između ostalog pominje Neuromanser, osvrće se na politiku Introversiona čija sledeća igra - Subversion - mnogo obećava, naravno sudbinu nastavka Wastelanda zbog koga sam i pustio klip (ali o ovome nema skoro ništa), pa o tome kako je Gejb želeo da Mekintoš privede igrama krajem prošloga veka, konkretno sudbini Half lajf porta... kaže kako je u to vreme Apple bio skoro :( mrtav i završava odom Kinectu.

Sledećih 24 sata su na Stimu nove igre na popustu. Ako ih nemate, sad je prilika da nabavite BioShock 2, The Withcer Enhanced Edition Director's Cut, Polynomal, Novu Laru, kao i Men of War obe igre u jednom paketu. I sva četri Gotika, mada je to već poskupo, ali opet jeftinije nego inače.

Sad su nove igre na popustu sledećih 24 sata:

Assassin's Creed 2 je 15 evra mada ga ni jedan pošten Srbin (ili Hrvat) neće kupiti jer ima zloglasnu always online zaštitu.

Just Cause 2 je malo više od 6 evra, ali za njega morate da imate Windows 7.

Trials 2, Second Edition je 2 i po evra, UZIMAJTE!!!

Recettear je oko 5 evra, mada je ja već imam.

Modern Warfare je 12 i po evra. Pa kome treba...

Day of Defeat Source je 2 evra. Svakako vredi!!

Tales of Monkey Island Complete Pack je 16 i po evra, što vredi, mada mi se čini da je na Halloween popustu bio jeftiniji...

Aliens vs. Predator je 5 evra, što me nervira. Igra mi se nije dopala ali ZABOGA, pet evra, osećam se glupo.

Sto se mene tice, da nisam igrao nijednu, na tom spisku bi najprimamljivije akcije bile Recettear i AvP. Ovako, ovu turu cu propustiti. Ionako sam poklekao i ipak produzio EVE Online pretplatu za jos tri meseca.  :cry:

U osnovi, ko do trećeg Januara ispadne najveća budala, tj. potroši najviše para na Steam rasprodajama, dobija od TR još jednu besplatnu igru na Steamu...

Ono sto je zaista perverzno je sto ja, iako sam odavno zakljucio da cu ako mi se gleda film skinuti za sat-dva uvek radije nego da prebiram po polici sa diskovima, *jos uvek rezem* i stavljam na tu istu policu sve sto odgledam. Drugim recima trosim pare kako bih zagadjivao svoj zivotni prostor.

Isto. Ja sam kupio Oddbox čim je izašao na Steamu a onda sam uredno skinuo i pirat dva dana kasnije i narezao ga. Zašto? Jebemliga... Možda da ga dam drugima ako nemaju para da plate. A možda jer sam hrčak.

But! by far the coolest aspect of Super Meat World is your ability to "Enter the Unknown".

Enter the unknown is a PC specific feature that grabs random user made levels from the level portal and arranges them in order of difficulty.

- When Players enter the unknown they will choose what difficulty they want to play.

- The unknown will only feature levels ranked 3+ on over all fun factor.

- Every time you play will be a totally new set of levels, endless content.

Fak jea!!! AKo još niste kupili SMB i mislite da je piratska verzija OK, razmislite ponovo, ovi onlajn nivoi zvuče kao da je kupovina vredna investicija.

Meni je Borderlands totalno genijalna (Cutter je iz nekog razloga mrzi) i pre nekoliko meseci sam na Steamu kupio GOTY ediciju iako već imam original za Playstation 3. Dakle, apsolutno je preporučujem sa ovim popustom. Kao Fallout 3 koji se pario sa Diablom...

Torčlajt nisan igrao, ali Cutter ga hejtuje. Izgleda da mu je Deathspank draži...

Borderlands je simpaticno ostvarenje, ali racunam da je pravi dozivljaj tek kad igras s nekim.
A Torchlightu sam imao posvetiti samo petnaestak minuta, i nije me kupio. Ali mnogi se kunu u njega kao savremenog, low profile, sarenog Diablo klona.

Hvala, hvala, ali, posto ja nisam neki timski igrac - mislim da, od kada sam, pre 4 godine, prestao da igram EVE nisam igrao bilo kakvu varijantu multyplayera (sem heroja III, ali to se ne racuna, zar ne?) - ima li smisla da singlujem ili da preskocim?

Torchlight cu verovatno da probam posto maltene popusim toliko za jedan dan  :P

Four pack su u stvari četiri paketa GOTY verzije igre (GOTY sadrži osnovnu igru i sva četiri DLC paketa. ), za četiri igrača, dakle, kupiš jedan za sebe a tri pokloniš trojici ortaća sa kojima bi igrao zajedno.
