Čitam danas u novom BUG-u kako se  pominje da bi novi XboX mogao biti predstavljen za nekoliko meseci na sajmu E3 (za razliku od toga što smo slušali, tj. da neće biti ništa od konzole do 2014.)

No, to nije najveća špekulacija, glasina, laprdanje ili šta već:

Navodno će novi XboX biti orentisan na CLOUD, što znači da će sva prodaja igara biti online!!!

Kao što rekoh, zasad je to samo glasina. Inače, u BUG-u su ME3 dali ocenu 90, mada je to diskutabilno, ako se uzme u obzir da BUG nije baš specijaliziran za prikaze igara...

Despite being cancelled two years ago, Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness Episode Three is back on track. While the first two installments of Penny Arcade Adventures were developed by Hothead Games, indie developer Zeboyd Games has taken the reins on the new episode and moved it in an entirely new direction.

The game has been created from the ground-up as an RPG influenced by Grandia and Final Fantasy V. In addition to its new art style, it will also feature an entirely new story only loosely related to the previous games.

"Since we realized it's been quite some time since the last two [games], we're trying to make it more of a standalone title," Zeboyd's Robert Boyd told Joystiq. "The world and the characters -- there's lots of connections to the past two games, but, as far as plot goes, you should be able to start the third game without any direct knowledge of the first two and do just fine."

While the first episodes were written by Penny Arcade co-creator Jerry Holkins, Episode 3 will instead be primarily written by Boyd, though Holkins will collaborate. "I'm doing a lot of the writing and he's doing a lot of editing and plot and that kind of thing, and I offer suggestions and he offers suggestions," Boyd said. "It's going to stay true to Jerry's vision of the story, I think it's fair to say," added Zeboyd's Bill Stiernberg, "but nitty-gritty details of specific occurrences is more of a collaborative thing."

Battles will be turn-based, using a time bar much like Grandia's. Special attacks will have the opportunity to push back an opponents' time bar, delaying their ability to make a move. "We think that makes combat a lot more interesting than 'I do my moves, you do your moves,'" Boyd said.

Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 will come to PC, Mac, Xbox Live Indie Games, iOS and Android this summer. No price has been announced, though it's said to be "in line" with Zeboyd's previous games (Cthulhu Saves the World is currently $2.99 on Steam). More details will be available when the game goes on display at PAX East in Boston later this week.

Gamasutra's sister publication Game Developer magazine, the leading game industry publication, has released the results of its 11th annual Game Developer Salary Survey, finding that the average U.S. 'mainstream' industry salary was virtually flat in 2011, compared to 2010.

The Game Developer Salary Survey, available in full in the April 2012 issue of the magazine, is the only major publicly-released analysis of salaries in the worldwide video game industry.

It provides an exhaustive breakdown of salaries and benefits at major game studios by discipline, job function, experience level, region and gender. The survey has also charted the growing worldwide independent game industry in the last three years.

The average salary across the entire U.S. 'mainstream' games industry was $81,192, only a marginal increase to last year's $80,817 reported average. Nevertheless, 66 percent of survey respondents made more money in 2011 than they did in 2010, compared to 56 percent from 2010 to 2009.

Highlights of specific findings per category for the game developer-specific survey in the United States are as follows:

Programming: Already some of the highest paid talent in the game industry, programmers made even more in 2011 as their average salary jumped up to nearly $92,962 from $85,733. Salaries increased across the experience spectrum, with newer workers (under three years of experience) reporting a whopping $10,700 average increase over last year.

Art and Animation: Artists and animators' average salaries increased to $75,780 over the previous year's average of $71,354. The largest gains went to art directors and lead/technical artists, which bodes well for the industry veterans and less so for the younger artists and animators.

Game Design: Game designers, writers, and creative directors were paid $73,386 on average in 2011, up from $70,223. Game designers with less than three years of experience received the biggest boost over last year ($3,500).

Production: Though producers saw a huge increase in 2010 for their average salaries to $88,544, that dropped last year to $85,687. Most of these cuts were felt by producers with 3-6 years of experience, whose average salaries fell about $4,900 from 2010, and by producers with over six years of experience, whose salaries were cut by $3,300. Women continue to be comparatively well-represented in the production department (16 percent) -- men absorbed most of the salary drop, while female producers' salaries actually rose.

Audio: The average audio professional's reported salary in 2011 was significantly higher, $83,182 compared to 2010's $68,088. While it is difficult to draw meaningful conclusions from the data due to there being fewer respondents for this category compared to other disciplines, we received 30 percent more responses from audio professionals than we did in 2010, so the job market might just be on the uptick.

Quality Assurance: Quality assurance professionals (testers and QA leads) are the lowest-paid workers in the games industry for yet another year -- and in 2011, their average salary decreased to $47,910 from $49,009 in 2010. The salary hit was mostly felt by QA leads with over six years of experience, while those with less experience in the field actually earned more.

Business: Business and legal employees are still the highest paid in the industry, but their salaries dropped from $106,452 in 2010 to $102,160 last year. Those with more than six years of experience were negatively impacted the most, making nearly $8,000 less. Newcomers, however, saw their average salaries increase by $14,000.

The survey, which polled over 4,000 respondents and used data from over 2,500, also asked independent developers about their salaries during 2011, as well as sentiment about job happiness and information on layoffs, and stories about these elements will be appearing on Gamasutra in the near future.

"But listen: none of us was born to be an asshole," he says. "I believe that very often it's not really the player that's an asshole. It's the game designer that made them an asshole. If you spend every day killing one another how are you going to be a nice guy? All console games are about killing each other, or killing one another together... Don't you see? It's our games that make us assholes."

Што се тиче овог новог Лижр Сут Лерија... изузетно ми је драго што ће Ал коначно да направи наставак (оне будалаштине које су се појавиле послије одличног седмог дијела уопште не рачунам у канон), али бих много више волио да то буде она некад давно најављена игра у свемиру него римејк првог дијела. Уопште ми није јасно како то мисле да изведу - та игра је недопустиво кратка за данашње стандарде.

Ooooh, Wayforward radi rimejk Double Dragon. Mislim, ja priznajem da Double Dragon nije mnogo dobra igra, ali jebiga, volim je i djetinje uspomene su ostavile dovoljno traga na ovom starom čoveku da ja tu igru i danas povremeno igram. Wayforward je solidna firma i, moglo bi ovo da bude ok.

U izradi je anime film koji predstavlja prequel za Mass Effect 3 - Mass Effect: Paragon Lost.
Film će prikazati borbu Džejmsa Vege protiv Collector-a.
Izlazi na jesen(kod pirata verovatno oko godinu dana kasnije ).

Baš sam jutros razmišljao o tom pitanju. Naime, igru nisam kupio u okviru projekta kupovanja igara koje me ne zanimaju preterano sa zavvija tek kada budu na bizarnim popustima. Skinuo sam piratske verzije za Xbox 360 i PC ali trenutno imam toliko prioritetnijih igara (mislim, o uskrsu se UVEK igra novi Yakuza naslov u mojoj kući) da ne verujem da će ME3 doći na red pre.... Jula?

Mnogo mi je drago da imam Playstation 3 verziju igre...

Elem, u drugim vijestima: Jack Tramiel je umro u 83. godini. Vama mladima to ime ne znači mnogo, ali vi niste odrastali igrajući igre na Commodore 64 i Atari ST računarima.

Pa... među mojim društvom je bila prilično mrtva trka između Amige i ST-a jedno godinu-dve. Onda je Atari počeo da gekće a Amiga je suvereno pobedila, ali i to je trajalo kratko jer je PC već počeo da preuzima primat...

Atari ST i Spectrum ZX u životu nisam video. Commodore 64 sam video u kutiji u ormanu. Amigu sam video jednom na kratko upaljenu.

код мене у крају само један другар је имао атари и био је фрустриран количином и квалитетом игара које не може да игра на свом..ех...љубимцу.
код нас амига је била дуготрајна, највише захваљујући невероватној игривности и неистрошивости сензибил сокера

Ovo bi se lakše progutalo da je objavljeno prvog Aprila. Ali nije. Bethesda pokušava da trejdmarkuje Fus Ro Dah. Nije mi najjasnije zašto. Trejdmark se gubi ako ga ne koristiš. Da li će Bethesda praviti spinoff igre ili makar jastučiće sa Fus Ro Dah temom ili im je neko dojavio kako je u razvoju iOS igra koja se tako zove pa sad na brzinu prave flash-based igru da bi zaštitili trejdmark???

Pošto je odluka da se Dark Souls portuje na PC došla posle uspešne onlajn peticije koju su potpisale desetine hiljada igrača, pokrenuta je nova kojom se ubeđuje Namco da se uzmu u pamet i izbace Games for Windows Live integraciju iz igre.

S jedne strane, potpuno je bizarno da potrošači lobiraju za monopolski servis  xrofl Sa druge, ne zajebavajmo se, meni je Dark Souls igra koji bih rado kupio i na PC-ju, ali ako bude imala GFWL integraciju jednostavno je neću kupiti.

Ovaj Piter Molino kad otvori srce... baš ga otvori. Intervju je nabijen hiperbolom kakvu smo navikli da očekujemo od njega, pa još grđom jer je sada indie developer, ali opet, fascinantno je ovo za pročitati.

I... u ovom veku on nije napravio stvarno odličnu igru, videćemo može li to sad kad je indi.

Nesto kontempliram uz jutarnju kafu: PS3 je nekako ispao razocaravajuca gomila out-of-this world hardvera koji je potencijalno mogao da bude jedinstvena platforma za pomeranje granice koja, ajd malo da patetisem, razdvaja stvarnost i mastu, ali ispao je samo glorifikovani xbox360.
Ipak, ako postoji igra za koju se moze reci "ovo je cekalo da PS3 bude napravljen" to je mozda ova. :lol:

Tribes: Ascend je gotov i lansiran. Radi se o novoj iteraciji nekada slavnog onlajn šutera, koju sada možete igrati za dž. Cutter je igrao betu i hvalio mi je.

Samo da kažem da je bioware ispao donekle fer i pružio igračima 1 dan kompenzacije za neugodnosti povodom lošeg apdejta igre SwTor.

Fez je dobio sjajne prikaze po Internetu (evo Jurogejmerovog) i čini da gorko žalim što nemam pristup XBLA. Ali... nadajmo se da će za godinu dana biti dostupan i na PSN-u i PC-u...
