I tako. Bioware traži još para od napaćenog naroda. To jest, objavio je MASS EFFECT TRILOGY, dakle, sve zajedno, ovo ono. Međutim!, to "sve zajedno" u stvari nije sve zajedno, jer ne uključuje sve zvanične DLC-ove, nego njih svega par-nepar. Pa pička im materina.

While no sequences directly referencing Bin Laden's assassination are in the game, Warfighter will receive downloadable content based on Bin Laden assassination film Zero Dark Thirty next month.

A, konačno su obnarodovani detalji o Grand Theft Auto V i... ooooh... napaljen sam! Tri lika sa kojima igrate na smenu (pritiskom na dugme menjate  aktivan lik u toku misije kad igrate izvan misija, a u toku misije možete da na određenim tačkama birate da li da se zamenite između likova, a oni rade različite stvari), glavna tema igre su velike pljačke koje njih trojica zajednički izvode, plus igra je vća nego GTA IV, San Andreas i Red Dead Redemption zajedno.

The first official details about Grand Theft Auto V have been announced. In the newest digital issue of Game Informer, Rockstar has revealed that the game will have three playable characters -- Michael, Trevor and Franklin. Players will switch between characters "constantly" with a single button press, allowing them to see missions from different perspectives.
Michael is a retired bank robber in his early 40s who is now in the witness protection program, and whose wife has burned through his substantial fortune, causing him to get "back into the game." His friend Trevor, the second protagonist, is around the same age as Michael and described as a "drugged out psychopath" who's a career criminal and prone to violence.
The final character, Franklin, works as a repo man and is younger, in his mid 20s. Franklin is described as "the young and capable one of the bunch." All three come together to perform heists, which are described as "a big theme in the game."
Players will experience missions as different combinations of the three characters, and each will have a different skillset. For example, in one heist mission, Michael rappels down the side of a building while Franklin uses a sniper rifle from afar and Trevor flies in a helicopter above. Players can switch back and forth between Michael grabbing a target inside the building or Franklin trying to snipe enemies inside. Once you escape, the player can choose to fly the getaway helicopter as Trevor, snipe other pilots as Franklin or fire a gun from the back of the vehicle as Michael.
Los Santos will be the biggest open world in Rockstar's history, "bigger than Read Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto IV and San Andreas combined." Players will also be able to explore underwater areas of the city.
Rockstar has also changed driving mechanics, noting that cars "hold to the ground a bit better" and have "a little more physics on them," making driving feel more like a racing game. Shooting and melee combat have also been improved, as have pedestrian models (some pedestrians have now been mapped using motion capture for more realistic movement). Rockstar also hasn't employed any celebrities to provide voices for the game.
Heists will be a key element, but players will also experience elements similar to Red Dead Redemption's dynamic encounters, including stopping to check on broken cars and picking up hitchhikers. Players will also be able to chase and catch muggers or rob cash vans.
Characters can be customized by changing clothes, but height and weight customization isn't included. The phone will also return for obtaining important info, but will now be more modern, with features more like what you'd see on a smartphone. Some items previously only accessible from the phone in Grand Theft Auto IV will simply be accessible on the map. For the first time, Grand Theft Auto V will also have an original musical score.
Each character will have their own social circle -- Michael has his wife and son (Amanda and Jimmy), Franklin has a "crazy friend" named Lamar and Trevor has a paranoid conspiracy theorist friend named Ron. Separately from missions, players will be able to switch between characters and see them living their daily lives. You'll be able to switch between characters at any time when you're not in a mission. Each character also has unique hobbies that only they can participate in, though Rockstar is still "ironing out all the details" on exactly what those will entail. There also won't be romance in the game as there was in Grand Theft Auto IV, and while there will be multiplayer, Rockstar hasn't released details just yet.
Outside of missions, players will be able to participate in multiple activities including yoga, triathalons, jet skiing, base jumping, tennis and golf. They can also cruise around the gigantic map in vehicles, with a confirmed list so far that includes several bikes, cars and trucks as well as helicopters, planes, ATVs and jet skis.
Players won't be able to own real-estate, but there will be plenty of other things for them to spend their money on. There will also be appearances from characters from Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes from Liberty City -- just not major characters like Niko Bellic. Rockstar explains that the five Grand Theft Auto games on PlayStation 2 are one universe, while Grand Theft Auto IV and V exist in a separate "high definition universe," so don't expect to see C.J. or Tommy as there won't be any crossovers.
Grand Theft Auto V will hit stores in Spring 2013 and has only been confirmed for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 thus far. The game was originally announced in October 2011, followed by the first trailer in November. The idea of multiple playable characters was actually rumored early on, first suggested the day after the original announcement.

Kada su Silicon Knights pre nekoliko godina tužili Epic jer, tvrdili su, nisu dobili adekvatnu podršku u radu sa licenciranim Unreal endžinom od Epica, sigurno se nisu nadali da će a) Izgubiti parnicu b) morati da plate skoro četiri i po miljuna dolara na osnovu uspešne kontratužbe (da su otkrivali službene tajne itd.) i c) da će morati da unište sve igre koje su pravili na Unreal tehnologiji. Dakle da fizički unište svaku (neprodatu) kopiju i izbrišu source code za Too Human, The Box/Ritualyst, The Sandman, X-Men: Destiny i Siren in the Maelstrom. Oh, američko pravosuđe...

Conveniently for me, I hate a type of game that seems to come together well in game jam environments. I fucking hate tower defense.

Why the hate?

I've broken this down before, but, in detail, there are two highly scientific reasons:

1. Tower Defense is The Anti-Flow. Flow is the concept of increasing difficulty in games. The better you're doing, the harder you have to play to keep up with how the game responds to your skill level. In an ideal game, your skill level is matched by the game so precisely that you need to continue to concentrate to rise to the increasing challenge.

Tower Defense does the opposite of promoting flow. The better you're doing, the less you're actually playing. If you have a perfect tower setup, you're just watching. Some smart people, like the folks at PopCap, fixed this by giving players some additional busywork to do during the tower defense scenario. This adds something, but doesn't defeat the underlying problem.

2. Tower Defense creates a Positive Feedback Loop. In a standard bug-squashing game, a player gets "coins" for each "bug" killed by a tower. The coins are used to buy more towers. If the player does a poor job early on, and tower setup isn't good, the player will get less coins. Therefore, the player won't be able to afford better towers. So if a player starts playing poorly, the player will fall behind, and play worse and worse until all hope is lost.


So, there you go: two scientifically proven game design reasons why Tower Defense is bad and you should hate it. Yet so many people seem to like it anyway! Why?

I realize, for one thing, that the amount of idle time in a TD game makes it ideal as a "windowed in the background" experience. If your towers are set up well, you can casually walk away from the TD game without much fear, checking it now and again. Not every game needs to be a flow experience. And I also realize that there are TD games that people play for the story. So if trying to create such a game somehow gives me new appreciation for what's out there in Tower Defense, so be it. As I understand it, that's perfectly aligned with the goals of the jam.

I'm not entirely sure it's possible to make TD a flow experience anyway. When I pitched this concept casually to a few people, they thought of some ways to mix it up. One idea was to set the game from the point of view of a single tower, and aim and click at bugs. But that's not really tower defense; it's just a shooter. Another idea was to do a sort of reverse tower defense where the player controls the bugs... but I'm not sure that's really Tower Defense either. I could do a sort of parody text-adventure Tower Defense where the player takes on the role of some dude in the tower and types SHOOT BUG tediously. I may save that plan as a last-minute backup if I can't do much better.

But what I really want is a Tower Defense game that respects my time, the way Earthbound is a JRPG that respects my time. In Earthbound, if you are definitely going to win a fight anyway, you instantly win that fight without actually playing out the combat. So it should be in Tower Defense. If all my towers are properly set up, and victory is inevitable, why make me push down a Fast-forward button or otherwise go through the motions to watch it play out? If the towers are set up toward an inevitable loss due to positive feedback, why not let me know that now rather than slowly sinking under?

Does this game exist already? If not, are these design problems I can solve with limited coding experience? I plan to try to find out

Ovaj Piter Molinju je stvarno šaljivdžija.  :lol:  Dakle, njegova prva igra kao šefa nezavisnog studija 22 Cans, besplatni iOS/ Android App po imenu Curiosity: What's in the Cube je za poslednjih nedelju dana pretrpela grdne probleme sa serverima jer ogroman broj ljudi pokušava da je igra u isto vreme a to ruši server, briše ljudima zarađene novčiće itd. A pošto je igra objavljena kao free to play naslov i još uvek nije otvorila radnju-u-igri, gde bi igrači mogli da potroše neki (pravi) novac i time proizvođačima plate za njihov rad, Molinju sad traži - donacije. Zaista živimo u čudnim vremenima...

Aaaa, kakvo ludačko zamešateljstvo: dakle, neki PC igrači koji su kupili fizičke kopije Call of Duty Black Ops 2 su otkrili da, kad krenu sa instalacijom, pa se uhvate drugog diska, na kome je uredno odštampan CoD black ops 2 logo i sve, otkriju da je sadržaj neadekvatan. umesto drugog diska za BLOPS2, tu je - mass Effect 2! Dakle, sasvim druga igra sasvim druge firme (neki bi rekli najvećeg Activisionovog rivala). Bizarna omaška fabrike za štampanje diskova bez sumnje! BioWare je reagovao munjevito nudeći za prvih pedeset ograča koji mogu da dokažu da im se to desilo, besplatne kopije Mass Effect Trilogy. Bestidno!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: Da li je slučajno da u isto vreme, neki Xbox 360 diskovi sa igrom Lego Lord of the Rings sadrže umesto pune igre - demo verziju? Možda industrija pokušava da nas suptilnim trikovima odvikne od kupovine fizičkih igara i utera u digitalnu distribuciju? Doduše, kod mene je to već slučaj, što se PC-ja tiče. Već najmanje dve godine skoro da uopšte ne kupujem fizičke kopije PC igara (sem recimo Braid i Super Meat Boy kao trofejne primerke).

Novi detalji o GTA V:

Evo nečega o glavnim likovima. Dan Houser se baš... trudi. Ovo će biti još više character-driven igra nego Red Dead Redemption, reklo bi se. Zanimljivo je, kad ovek pogleda Red Dead Redemption, GTA IV, LA Noire, pa i Max Payne 3, sve veoma character-driven igre, a onda ponovo zaigra GTA III (koga sam ja nedavno kupio po treći put u PS2 Classics verziji za PS3) - kontrast je zapanjujući. Claude je skoro potpuno tabula rasa u toj igri.

A evo i intervjua sa Lesliejem Benziesom, čovekom koji je producirao devet GTA igara, RDR, LAN i Maxa Paynea 3

Ja sam jedan od onih koji se još mučio. :) Tačnije, kada je ono tek izašla verzija za PC mislio sam da nešto nije u redu jer renderuje sliku na 1/4 ekrana. Posle sam se zainatio i pročitao na nekoj recimo 156 stranici neogaf topica da je to zbog uključenog AA. I onda sam pola igre presao ubedjen da to zaista jeste 60 fps i da su framedropovi ok. Cvrc!

Jedna jedina stvar bila je kljucna, u stvari dve. Instalacija poslednjeg 1.5 dsfixa, a ne nekog tamo bilokojeg, i editovanje ini fajla sa notepadom gde se samo ukucka framerate 60... I kao nekom magijom, framerate maltene zakucan na tu vrednost! :o

Da, pa, to se dobija kad From, iako su napravili uspešnu konzolnu igru, nisu uspeli da ubede Namco da plati neki ozbiljan studfi da uradi portovanje na PC, uz Fromovu superviziju. Mislim, kad moder uspeju da zakucaju frejmrejt na 60 bez negativnih efekata onda jebiga. Ali zašto ti, kad smo već, iako imaš Xbox 360 i PS3 igraš PC verziju DS????

Novi GTA V trejler izgleda odlično. Naravno, sve je ovo izrendano, ali ipak, endžin izgleda odlično u HD, sve je blistavo jasno i jedino se po krutim animacijama tela i lica da primetiti da je ovo i dalje Rokstar na zadatku  :lol:

Tja. Tom Hardy dobio ulogu Sama Fishera u filmu Splinter Cell. Pošto već znamo da će Michael Fassbender igrati u Assassin's Creed, ostaje da se nadamo da će Ubisoft napraviti dovoljno dobre filmove da opravda prisustvo ovako dobrih glumaca u njima. Ali slutimo da neće - Prince of Persia nije baš potresao svet.

Zato sto je 60fps Full HD bolje nego sub-HD u 30 fps. :) Osim toga, iskustvo je potpuno identicno, jer igram sa xbox dzojpedom na TV-u.

Zapocinjao sam 5-6 puta na konzolama i svaki put odustao u pravoj agoniji i silnoj zelji da mi se dopadne. Demon's Souls sam prodao, samo da ga vise ne gledam i ne pokusavam. Ono malo dlaka sto imam na grudima, odavno je izraslo. :-D

U trenutku kada sam uspeo da nateram PC verziju da radi, cisto iz znatizelje da bih uporedio, drugar je prelazio na xboxu i dao mi nekoliko dobrih saveta za pocetak. Farmovanje dusa na mostu u Undead Burgu ucinilo je dovoljno da malo ojacam, shvatim da igra nikada za mene nece biti onakva kakvom su je autori zamislili, ali da nekakvo resenje - ma koliko bilo jeftino - ipak postoji. Do sledeceg mesta za farmovanje u Darkroot Gardenu izgubio sam sumanuto mnogo dusa, i to je bila druga prekretnica da ne odustanem.

Sony je objavio da je prodao 70 milijuna PS3jki. To je interesantna sifra iz više razloga. Prvo, to znači da su praktično stigli Microsoft koji je istu cifru objavio pre mesec dana iako su čitavu godinu duže na tržištu sa Xbox 360icom. Ali istovremeno to znači da je, pored svih objavljivanja smrti konzolnog igranja, ova generacija bila začajno uspešnija za sve igrače od prethodne dve. Awsum?

The folks from Google have all sorts of crazy projects going on at any given time. From Project Glass, Android, and probably tons of things we'll never know about. Google's Niantic Labs earlier this year released their Field Trip App for Android, and now they're back with a worldwide mobile game based on AR, and it's called Google Ingress

Last week we told you about an odd viral campaign called The Niantic Project, and this is the end result of that project. We guessed it would be some sort of App or Augmented Reality game, and today it has actually launched as a closed beta on the Google Play Store. So what is it exactly? It's still hard to tell but the video below might pique your interest.
"The world around you is not what it seems"
  Everything is still a bit cryptic, but essentially a team of Europe Scientists have unearthed a mysterious and powerful energy that is taking over the planet. Users worldwide will be able to use their Android smartphones rear camera, and the Ingress augmented reality app to tap certain landscapes and other things around the world or in their City. As you find things you can harness and discover sources of this mysterious energy. Think of it as a giant AR real-time strategy game in a way. Players are all playing in the same world like World of Warcraft, and you'll be able to harness that energy — called "XM".
Users can tag, acquire, and collect objects around the world. Use these objects to aid you in your quest, and even capture entire territories and protect them with said objects and energy. Weird right? Is anyone confused yet? The players worldwide will be known as the "Resistance" to save earth from this mysterious energy. You can work with fellow players, track stats, plan and coordinate your next steps or territory grabs, and communicate with others using an Intelligence map.
This is using mobile technology to its finest. A brand new type of open world game, but on mobile where users can interact with the world around them. It really is quite interesting, could be loads of fun, but is still a little confusing at first. Google's Niantic Labs states the game will evolve daily, secrets and technology will be unlocked and more. For now this is only a closed beta, but you can sign up at the link below and get started soon. The original Niantic Project ended on November 30th, so we expect the beta to open to the public around the same date.

Meho je kolekcionar i verovatno će se obradovati ovom vešću, mada sam siguran da igru i njene nastavke već poseduje:

Naime, u novembru (?) bi trebao da se pojavi i poslednji čepter Walking Dead igre, a za američko tržište najavljuju i kolekcionarsko izdanje, sa svim čepterima i preko 1000 strana samog strip serijala, to jest, navodno, sve što je od WD stripa izašlo.

Samo, ne piše koliko košta to planinarenje.

Da, video sam te najave, ali to bih možda kupio za PS3 jer na PCju već imam igre. Mislim da cena ne bi trebalo da bude ekstravagantna, telltale obično dosta jeftino prodaju ove kolekcije.

Igra je već na 168% svog inicijalnog cilja na Kikstarteru, ali vredi dati još para jer su neki streč golovi interesantni. Sa još 2000 funti, u igru će se dodati lovci na konjima - mislim da je ovo gotova stvar jer ima još dosta vremena do kraja kampanje - a sa još 12000 - multiplejer!
