Neko mi hackovao skype account (welcome to UA/Russia), potrosio 60 eura sto sam imao tamo, i kako sam kasnije primetio jos 200 eura sa auto-recharge preko paypala.
Poslali nekoliko hiljada sms u Rusiju.

Hello Ivan,

Thank you for contacting Skype Customer Service.

We understand that you are concerned about the status of your account. We know that this is important to you. We will assist you with this.

Upon checking your account, we can confirm that there are messages sent to Russia mobiles. We would like to provide the information that we do not have the IP address of the person who send this messages and the content of the messages as well. We are sorry that we will not be able to provide these information.

It seems that a third party might have gained access to your account. We have checked your account data and we can verify that you have changed your password for your account after the incident.
It should now be safe to sign in to Skype again; anybody else who might have had access to your account had now been signed out and won't be able to sign back in without your new password.

Please note that Skype is not liable, and is unable to refund any money that has been lost because of this incident.

To prevent this from happening again, we urge you to check that your PC's security systems are running properly and are up to date. This will prevent hackers from obtaining personal information such as your Skype Name and password from you. If your security software is missing, disabled, or not up to date, your computer is vulnerable to viruses and malware.

Also, to keep your information safe, please beware of 'phishing' sites, or Skype chat messages from strangers, (sometimes pretending to be from Skype) that contain links or ask you to reveal personal information, such as your password or your credit card numbers.

To learn more about phishing, please visit:
http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/security/online-safety/#phishing

The hacker may have access to your email account. Please change your email password as well.
We strongly suggest that the password on your Skype account is complex and cannot be easily guessed. Please ensure you use a combination of numbers, upper and lower case letters and symbols to increase your password security.

Finally, when you use Skype on a public computer, always be aware of people around you when entering any personal details, and remember to sign out of your account and quit Skype completely when you have finished using it.

Hi, I live in the Czech Republic, but am in Ukraine right now. My account has been hacked into. My funds are gone and I just checked the history. A couple of thousands of SMS messages were sent from my account to various mobile numbers in Russia.
I understand my funds are gone and you are not responsible for it, but I was wondering if you could provide me with the IP address my account was hacked from and also the content of the SMS. I imagine it must have been one same message to all these different mobile numbers.
Also, do you know, how is it possible that they were able to send so many messages in such a short period of time. Does your software support uploading phone number from a datatbase file and then sending them as "group SMS"?

I've changed the password and I hope it won't get hacked again. But please provide me with the above asap.

I thank You in advance.

Kind Regards,

Ivan D
