Thinking out of the box & Sun Tzu the Art of War

A couple of days ago, I flipped through an old book that I have
read several years ago, "Sun Tzu the Art of War" and I stumbled
across a page about thinking out of the box.

It talks about how giant companies like McDonalds and KFC think out
of the box to take their business to the next level. As they expand
their business, they come across different people from different
countries, which also have different cultures. And different
cultures have different needs.

So, what these companies did were, instead of sticking with their
master plan, they decided to think out of the box. They become
flexible by repackaging their products to suit the local needs. As
a result, they were able to compete with local businesses in the
same industries with little effort.

That's the power of thinking out of the box.
