Jedan momak sto ga Johnny i ja znamo ovde je novinar za jednu veliku americku kompaniju i upravo se vratio iz Ukrajine gde je bio preko mesec dana.

It made me appreciate my hοme a lοt mοre. As far as I am cοncerned Putin can have it. It was a very unfriendly, inhοspitable envirοnment.

Johnny nosi na kartama poslednjih nedelju dana i to se odrazava na kvalitet njegovog pisanja. Sto vise nosi na kartama, to je manje motivisan da pise i samo otaljava.

We assume that the answer is yes and this is just his little way of applying a bit more pressure.

We don't really know or understand what Putin proved but we do know that he and his country could not afford such waste. It is a shame and will unfortunately go down in Olympic history as an utter joke. How do you all feel about this? Do you agree or is there another point of view that we should be looking at?

Zauzeta zgrada vlasti Donjecka

Donjeck -- Proruski demonstranti upali su danas u prostorije lokalne uprave u gradu Donjecku, na istoku Ukrajine.

Više od 2.000 demonstranata uputilo se na kraju protesta ka prostorijama koje je čuvala policija. Od toga je 50 uspelo da se probije u zgradu, javila je agencija Frans pres.

Demonstranti su sa zgrade lokalne vlasti skinuli zastavu Ukrajine, a istakli zastavu Rusije.

Sad pitajte Srbe (Ruse...) da lociraju Kazahstan ili da nabroje one dve balticke zemlje sto im ime pocinje na "L"

Bitna razlika je u tome sto isti ti Srbi (Rusi) sasvim sigurno nisu do te mere kategoricni kako bi u istim
tim zemljama (koje na mapi ne mogu da "ubodu") miletarno intervenisali.

A s'druge strane, ova cinjenica o generalnom ne poznavanju stvari od strane Amera i nije zapanjujuca. xrotaeye

Ma ljudi, jedna je stvar kritikovati Ameriku i Zapad kroz prizmu toga sta bi sve moglo tamo da se promeni, pa da mozda bude (jos) bolje nego sto jeste, a druga je porediti ih sa Rusijom.
Amerika i Zapad nisu idealni, niti to iko tvrdi. Ali sasvim je neprimereno porediti Zapad sa primitivnim drustvima kakva su na zalost srpsko, a pogotovo rusko. Nema tu poredjenju mesta. To su dva razlicita sveta. Ne postoji tu zajednicki denominator.
I samo zahvaljujuci lepom vaspitanju zapadnjaka i njihove sposobnosti da se izdignu nad stvari, do they not rub it in to Russians/Serbs etc. I cesto cak nadju i lepu rec za njih.

Sta reci o zemlji/drzavi, cija skijasica na pretproslim olimpijskim igrama osvoji zlatnu medalju, pa joj onda organizatori istu oduzmu jer nije prosla doping test, onda stigne u Rusiju, a ruska drzava joj svejedno da $50K kao nagradu i jos joj izliju platinastu medalju.

Ili, Pareski je ovde davno postirao, pre nekoliko godina Jelena Jankovic pobedi u cetvr finalu nekog turnira i onda srbijanski novinari prekidali press konferenciju aplauzima par puta, iako se to u civilizovanom svetu radi samo u izuzetnim prilikama posle pobedjenog finalnog meca. I to ne uvek, vec samo ako je mec bio izvanredan.
Mi smo kao oni crnci u Americi koji su se toliko nedavno radovali kad im je cerka zavrsila srednju skolu da su morali da ih izbace sa ceremonije.

I kako sad da poredis visevekovnu kulturu sa necim takvim? Jednostavno ne ide to.

Ne tvrdim da je sva sreca u tehnolosko/kulturno/civilizacijskom napredku - to je naravno vrlo diskutabilno, ali makar malo realnosti.

Taman sam poslednjih nekoliko godina iskulirao Srbe i stekao utisak da su se makar malcice opametili i prosvetili.

Situacija u Ukrajini i stav ogromnog broja Srba po tom pitanju me je ubedila da sam se, na zalost, zavaravao.
Koliko neverovatno ima ubogog sveta tamo je jednostavno zastrasujuce.

Mizernih li ljudi.
